Woman allegedly throws flower pot at man during dispute

A Chatham woman faces charges after a man was hit by a thrown flowerpot, Chatham-Kent police say.

Officers called to a domestic dispute in the Harvey Street area Saturday learned a woman punched, kicked and threw a flowerpot at a man, striking him in the chest, police said. She also threw a planter full of flowers down the stairs, destroying it.

A Chatham woman, 26, is charged with assault, assault with a weapon and mischief under $5,000, police said. She was released with conditions and a court date.

A Blenheim resident was charged after a landlord-tenant dispute turned physical, Chatham-Kent police say.

Officers responding to a reported assault at an address in Blenheim Saturday learned that a man swung a piece of workout equipment in a clash with his landlord, police said.
